it takes the energy of more
than a single drop of water
to wake a sunflower seed
from its dream

yet water is
all it takes

for the seed to grow, though,
it needs a bed,
a base of earth
the whisper of ground

still, a handful
will do

and sun, of course
for direction
for the light
of life

as to posture:
it's advised to turn the base
halfway every day
for balance on the way
of growing towards the sun

this almost is
an asana

and also goes for
human beings
